We had a great turnout for the relays today (28 June) and achieved our best results for several years.
In a field of 59 teams our A team finished 5th with Mark Tannian stepping into the breach at the last minute and threatening to run in bare feet, thankfully we managed to kit him out properly. It was also good to see Mrs Tannian (Corinna) out again after the birth of their daughter. Our B team finished 18th and our C team finished 35th.
Don't forget the Bounders Relays will be held on the 8th of July this year. Please email me if you are interested in taking part hayleydoherty@gmail.com

With 254 finishers this year's Forest 5 held on 18 June can only be described as a complete success.
Results are now available here.
A particularly big thank you to all those 40 or 50 people who helped make the event go so smoothly; Marshalls, Time Keepers, Late Entries the list is almost endless! Some of whom were drafted in (maybe conscripted would be a better word) at the last moment.
Bracknell Forest Runners next event is the Bounders Relay for further details see our ad at the top right of the home page. We will also be helping the The Samaritans, organisers of the SAM runs, on 29 June in Crowthorne.
Well done to Hayley, Emma and Elaine at their first Olympic Distance Triathlon 1.5K/40K/10K. I know elaine did a Half Ironman two weeks ago, but still her first time at this distance.
Also well done to Caroline Madden and Peter Steather.
