Our Biggest Ever Race?
Gary is still checking out a couple of issues but as it stands we had 63 members complete the Wokingham Half Marathon this weekend which is the highest number of finishers I can ever remember completing an event. We had a wide spectrum of finishers, all ages, all abilities and several new members competing against those who've been with the club almost since it was first formed 25 years ago. Overall we were the third largest team represented, just a couple less than Sandhurst and Serpentine (where did they all come from?).
First man home was Ben and first lady was Annie.
Remember this weekend is Metros Cross Country. Traditionally this is a low turn out event so if we flood the race with BFR vests there's no reason we can't get in the mix with RRR and SJ!!!
