Message From Lucy Heath
I am doing some volunteer work in Zambia this summer, renovating and extending a primary school in a shanty town on the outskirts of the capital, Lusaka. The trip itself is all paid for but we have been asked to raise funds for the cost of building materials etc.
So I am contacting everybody I know to come to my recital for double bass and piano on Thursday 24th July at 8pm in St Mary's Church, Maidenhead SL6 1YY. The programme includes pieces by Handel, Eccles, Bottesini and Faure.
Tickets are not required but donations are welcome.However, if you can't make it to the concert, you can still make a donation anyway via www.justgiving.com/lucyheath2 where there is a bit more information about the trip. You can also check out www.missiondirect.org to find out more.
